Review sites - should I review one product or multiple products?

Hey everyone. As I mentioned in another thread, I have a couple adsense sites up, but I'm looking at moving into promoting affiliate products. Just to test this out cheaply, I created a Squidoo lens about www.courtrecords.org, which is a clickbank product, and then I wrote four ezine articles. I made two sales off of it in a month (obviously I wasn't knocking myself out there!).

But I'm encouraged that even with an awful looking lens and such minimal efforts, I actually made two sales. So now I'd like to try again and do a decent job at it.

I now am going to get a landing page/minisite designed for me and write articles driving traffic to it. I have a couple of questions:

1.) Would I be better off putting links to some other pages on the site in an unobtrusive place like the bottom of the page, in hopes of getting better google rankings? (Obviously kinda downplaying those links so people don't get distracted because what I really want is for them to click on an affiliate link.)

2.) Do review pages do better if you have multiple products on them? I'm really hoping to actually buy one product, use it, discuss it in detail - here is the terrible problem I was having before (Dog training - I came home every night to find chewed up furniture and shredded carpets, I was at my wits end, I hit the internet desperately searching for a solution, until I finally found the answer in this sanity-saving product - etc.)...and I really don't want to have to buy three or four products. I guess I could fake it and use testimonials from the affiliate site...
But could I do just as well reviewing one product?

    Thanks in advance!

the crazy dictator is right... focus on just one product at a time and after you gain some experience you may add some new products to your selling cart...

and if you wanna join the product review business you have to contact the person who owns the product that you want ro review and ask him to give it to you for free, because you want to review it and put it as an offer to your site...

and don`t forget to ask him to give you a discount for the product, if you want to be an affiliate...

    how that this help,

I'm glad to hear you guys say that. I see so many product review sites that list three or four similar products and supposedly give an objective review of each - and I just personally would have a really hard time writing a good, accurate product review of a product that I haven't tried out for myself.

    Thanks, Tudor and crazydictator.
