I couldn't say whether I think it'll convert well. Design-wise, I'd recommend you have a heading for each page to let visitors know what page they're on. Good luck.
It always make me laugh, scrap gold. Just bin it mate it's only scrap gold. You found a good niche which could make you good money, especially now with the price of gold sky rocketing. Template looks fine but maybe you should use a bigger lettertype. Good Luck.
Design tips, 1) Replace the blue background. It kinds of make it look cheap. 2) You need a new logo, a more professional one that is. 3) Your navigation is too flat. Looks like it needs a button or something behind it. Especially noticeable with the live help - does not seem like a link but only text. Just my humble opinion
I also agree about the size of type, just a little to small for the average reader. YOU might also change to lime green color to a more appealing green.
The color choices are not too good, need less saturation. It's too "bright", makes it look cheap (think plastic toy). Esp. the blue background either needs to get toned down or dropped altogether. The typography is lacking as well. To reiterate what people are saying, font-size is too small, line-height is too small, and it's not varied. Other than that, site is fine.
I find the website perfect to be honest. Very informative but the text is quite small. Might want to change the size.
Looks pretty good but the font is kinda small and on the computer I'm using there is tons of blue space on both sides.
It would not convert me either.... Why all the blank space in the middle column under the hand? Text is a little small for me and you need a larger, catchier header. Make it easy to identify exactly what your site is about within just a second or two of landing on it.
