Review: Sell and Buy Textlink site

    First nice plain and simple design
    The login form is a bit hidden try to show it more to users.
    When you click on a category, it shows to the left a 'SUB CATEGORIES' title which has nothing in it, maybe you should hide this title when no sub-categories are available.
    I clicked on advertise and got the following error:

    Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'xxxxxx@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/advertisers/xxxxx.php on line 11
    I cannot connect to the database because: Access denied for user: 'xxxxx@localhost' (Using password: YES)



    I replaced some possibly 'sensitive' information with xxx's

    It looks very nice and clean, but I agree that some color would spruce it up a bit. I've registered and will be adding some ads.

    Are you sure about that? I went to the website and the entire middle is blank except for:

    "Buy and sell text link" -- which is not proper english (add a "s" to link).

    Why market a website that is lacking so much? I certainly understand wanting to hurry and get traffic, but if you are not putting your best foot forward, your image is being tarnished.

    Idea: Don't assume that your visitors know as much as you do about the purpose of the website. Tell us what your website is about and why we want to use it.

    If nothing else, throw up some copy about the website and its features.

    Then get out there and make it a hit! :D

    Looks like the copy still needs to be added, but I like the fact that you don't need to register to view auctions like other sites out there. Nice site.

    I certainly need to put some contents in it....

    I recently changed hosting server and I didn't have time to change all DB information so that caused mysql errors....

    Any more advice???

    Simple and nice. Will do the work. and a3196 is suggesting the right thing. Put some red or scarlet red here.
