Hi, I am new to webdesigning. I have very little knowledge in html, php, mysql and even color schemes. I redesigned my website based on a few suggestions from a friend in another forum. Please review the site and gimme some honest feedback on all things i.e., content, adsense, design, etc. Thanks in advance.
I'm assuming it's the Earn Easy from Home site? It looks fairly decent although I think the menu takes up more space than is necessary, and the cheers sign with the hands is a bit too much. Also I noted that there are a fair amount of ads, and my general suggestion is that if you don't have at least a page rank of 2 and at least 100 unique visitors a day, it's not a good idea to use ads, yet. Also, try to make your site easy to understand and easy to discern from other ones out there: how is your site different from your competitors? Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback, xanadu. I'll try to change the menu and the other things as suggested. However, I believe that the HOW TO page was not good to access as I used inframe. I have removed it and gave it a new look. Is it good now? Sticked to the chair for suggestions..
I would first limit it to one of those 468x60 ads per page. And regarding the HOW-TO, I would recommend you to make the header look at least slightly similar from the main page's. Not so big, but at least using similar colors and fonts. Apart of it, what xanadu suggested is also needed at my point of view.
Well what i think is that the buttons on the top left corner have got a big font. I would suggest you to use smaller ones, as they look much better and clear. Secondly, try to use text links instead of Images and thirdly, your got a big header you can make it short by cutting down the white edges. Your internal pages look much better than the homepage. As the navigation is clear and the content is clearly visible. Last thing i would say is your back ground. I find it a bit irritating, use some plain color, it would make it much better. Always remember, the simple a website is the better it looks, so never go for some kind of effects or multiple colors. Use 3 color combination at max.
