Well it's been just about 1 month since I started on roobr.com

It's my first arcade and I have to say, it's a lot more work than I ever thought it would be.

I'm happy with the site layout and content thus far. I'm just under 500 games, 95% leaderboard enabled. I've worked out most of the bugs related to point rewards and score tracking.

Traffic is my biggest concern at this point. It fluctuates a lot. I've had a couple days where I got 175+ uniques, but it typically averages around 30-50/day.

Bounce rate at this point is 48.46% which is pretty bad wouldn't you say? But I contribute a lot of that to the fact that I've been requesting site reviews from various places, so people aren't going there to play games.

    Adsense revenue: $2.18
    Mochi revenue: $0.10

    • I've SEO all I can on the site.
    • Submitted direct links and sitemaps to all major search engines.
    • Submitted the site to 100+ free directories.
    • I've submitted my blog to various top blog sites.
    • I've set up link exchanges with several of PR3+ sites who share similar keywords.
    • I've joined Facebook, Twitter and Myspace and am seeing some referrals from there.
    • I've purchased $30 worth of clicks from Yahoo Marketing (which hardly seems worth the money at this point).
    • I've joined arcadeexchange.com and purchased $6 worth of clicks (which I get pretty decent traffic from).
    • I've also joined several forums and joined in various discussions (with my site in my signature).

Does anybody suggest any other means of getting traffic to the site? I'm not getting much (read: <1%) organic traffic from search engines. Which is obviously the bread and butter of quality traffic.

Is it just a waiting game at this point? waiting for the search engines to rank me decently?

Does anybody see any obvious problems with the site? Thanks for any feedback.
