    Hi guys,
You can get the general jist of the site by visiting.

    http://www.stermina.com

Wondering what I can do to get more members? The few members that I do have are quite pleased with its ease of use, and I've tried my best in promoting it. Any tips or pointers? I'm aware of some of the validation errors.

The screen size isn't liquid so it sits as a narrow band on the screen. Free hosting without popups is hard to come by so I don't imagine you'll have to do much to promote it, really. I assume you've submitted to directories like DMOZ.

My eyes are a bit hazy today thanks to a 6 year old vomitting all night and I found the orange very harsh - in part because there was soooo much of it given my screen resolution.

I signed up as "Bike" and created a page but couldn't see my site. Looked through your forum at some of the others but they seemed to just point back to the home page.

It's interesting that you're offering plain html pages - most of the free hosts are using blogging software to provide "quick start" sites. I guess the use of a store requires an alternative approach.

    Sarah,
Thanks for the review and input.

    1. I'll change the big gaping orange background. We'll be adding a template within a week, but the overall layout will remain simple.

    2. We wanted to give the users as much freedom as possible while still making it easy even for newcomers. We'll try and implement something like that "blogging software" you mentioned.

    3. Yes, we're hoping to make up for some of our shortcomings by adding features like the shopfront.

    4. But what did you mean you could not see your site? What URL were you directed to?

Thanks for your time and thanks for helping us improve.

It's working now, was using 0 instead of 52. Would be good if it used subdomains or the login id and an external css.

As a standard you should use the login name, in this case "bike"
