Hey there, I want someone to give a brief review of a part of my skating site where I have affiliates for skating shoes. Just really want to know what you think of the basic layout, just really have it laid out basically for easy to look and click. http://www.externalskates.com/category/online-skate-shop/skateboarding-shoes/
I think you should separate each companies line into sections, rather then to have every shoe listed on one page.
what I normally do when using CJ product feeds is to change the word "Buy" in the click box. I think "Buy" can deter some people from clicking as they thinjk they are committing at that stage. I usually put in "More Information" or Info or something similar in the button, its a little less intimidating and easy to do in the cj code, just find where it says Buy and change it to whatever.
Yes its just a main page of all the shoes and you can click on the titles which brings the different brands onto different pages. Thanks for your suggestion mcjp6 as I have done it now.
Hi, honestly... I would point your domain straight to their site and use domain masking, that's all, hanger94 has a nice site, it sells itself. Now, if you want a landing page for some reason, then I would display maybe only "the best 10" shoes then direct people to the hanger94 site, you have way too many shoes down there...it doesn't look nice that way, I don't think people like to scroll down that much Good luck!
you can do that but the only way then to get traffic is by ppc, there will be no organic traffic as there is nothing for the bots to crawl.
Yes absolutely, I know it, that's the main reason most people build landing pages, that's why I mention the second option, if this is the case creating a landing page with fewer products and more information is the best thing to do then direct his customers to the other site, because its terrible right now, its too long, too many shoes for 1 page hehe...
Since I shop for shoes a lot, the only thing I'd have a problem with is that the price is not displayed easily and I can't search for colors. Nice shoes, by the way!
You haven't established credibility. To change that: 1. Have a better headline. 2. Design a good looking header. Good luck
i agree with the comment above mine. doesn't look very professional, kind of plain and for what you're trying to sell, you need to think about the market you're selling to. try to break up the choices more, maybe add links at the top of the page that redirect to the specific brand of shoes that are listed. and def get some graphics on there! have fun with it!!
