Review of Thinkpad Website

    HI,

I have just put up this website (a few days ago). I just wanted comments on the general site design and "look and feel". There is some minimal content that I will soon boost to high amount, but want to get the basic look down first.

    The site is: http://www.thinkpadonline.net

    Thanks for your help.

Thanks. Will remove. What do you suggest I do with the ad placements? I was thinking a square ad in the main content.
Also - any comments about the overall design?

SO I changed the layout some, the large banner is now right on top. Thoughts?

Nice site; I am not crazy about the logo. Look into using a higher res. version of a thinkpad and maybe some different text. I would put a break between the top ad banner and the header.

    Looks ok overall.
I don't like the top banner and the logo looks "cheap" for the content.
    Adsense placement is fine though.
And I like the fact that you use RSS feeds.
    Hope this help;)

Swerd - what browser are you using? Ive tried it on IE and FF and seems to be working fine for me.

It seems like the logo is a cause of concern. Any thoughts or ideas? All the help is much appreciated.

The layout looks great, it just needs some alignment ;)

I would align your black header with the banners on top and on the bottom of it. Also the content below should be aligned.

Not bad, just doesn't seem ot be anything different than I've seen in other blogs. I mean, in terms of design and presentation (method of presenting content).

GHOwner - do you have any particular suggestion about any design feature you've seen and liked?

When it loads up for me I get the side bar (menu?, meta, calendar) in the bottom right corner.
