Review of Political Buddies

Hey guys, I need a review of http://www.politicalbuddies.com

This is my first time working with a political community so it's a different ball park for me. We're using Vbulletin with VBadvanced as the front page (I don't like VB CMS). The site is for debating so there's no real content so we opted for a portal so that users can see new posts, etc concerning the forum. I am not sure what else to add, if anything though. Like I said, I'm rather inexperienced with political forums.

Please give me feedback.

The boxes on the right could be delete though.

 

delete the boxes as suggested before. It will make it look better

 

Looks like a typical default VB website, try looking at VB4 skins so that you can get some inspiration to make it more unique.

 

Thanks guys. I do have a VB skin I'm tinkering with behind the scenes. I'll post again when it's done. Do you guys see anything else content wise.

BTW anyone have any experiencing advertising or doing SEO for a site of this niche?? :-/
