I worked over the weekend, updating my Ford Truck website with a css layout I found on oswd.org. There are two small glitches that I'm aware of, but what I'm most interested in, is finding out what you think of the layout, style and colors in general. If you have some thoughts on the glitches, that would be great as well. Right now, I'm in the tweaking stage and watching to see how the new design affects my rankings and adsense performance. Issues: The first glitch is at the bottom of the center column on pages where the sponsors list is displayed. The last link from the sponsor's (right) column ends up being displayed in the center section. In order to make it not appear too strange, I added a link to the end of the sponsors list for "top". I'd like to figure out why this is happening so I can correct it. It only appears in IE and I'm using v.6. In firefox, it works great. The other glitch is only in firefox. In displaying the images for the car show signs, there is a break between the top and bottom images. I've tried putting the images in a table with zero cell padding or spacing and it still gets broken. The images appear fine in IE. If anyone has any suggestions to correct this behavior, I would sincerely appreciate your thoughts. Thanks, MoPacFan
The content and area below the header is great (I don't have any suggestions for changes in that area). However.. for the header, I would: - Make your site's name larger (larger than the text on the right since this is the main focus) - For the 3 links on the upper right corner, I would replace them with graphic buttons (with a red background.. maybe some gradient on it?) so it looks better. Right now it kind of looks "off" But, if you decide to keep it as is, maybe make the link color black instead? (so it's easier to read) I hope that helps! Good luck
