    I understand you're located in the UK. Is it where you want most of the projects to come from? I am just thinking out loud here, but if your site ended with .org you would have gotten more projects and sponsors internationally, I think. It's a great idea similar to kiva.org. Seriously, think about it. .org is the way to go for you.
