I have completely redone by website, IntellectToday.com - and any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The advertising sales logo on top is garish...please sell ads privately and don't offend your visitors like this! A small "advertise here" link for those who want to advertise would be okay.
You have lots of interesting categories, but you'll need a lot of high-quality conversations to make them worth posting to.
Your logo is nice, but I'm not sure it conveys an "intellectual" feel...looks more like a game site to me.

 

I agree. Your site's theme is very much likely with DP's vBulletin Blue theme.

 

Agreed with above statements. Definitely reminds me of DP, esp with all the rules as well.

 

Definitely need to change the header, besides that it's just a forum. Maybe look for a better theme?

 

I think you should change the theme and remove the ad in the header.
