i want to do reviews of about 100 clickbank products obviously it would help if I actually had their products in my hands so I can study them and then write an honest review.. but, I dont want to pay for any of these 100 clickbank products... HOW do I convince the clickbank owners to give me a free copy so I can look it over and review it without paying a dime ?
That's a lot of work... and by the way, who exactly will read all those reviews? You simply cannot do a REAL review of 100 products.
Doing an honest review means you have to actually have used the products you are reviewing. If everyone said i want to review your product so can i have a free copy please the vendors would make no money. Then add to that a lot of the products are worthless and i know because i have bought them you would probably do 75% bad reviews so how would you make any money nobody will buy if you give bad reviews. So the idea of reviewing 100 clickbank products is a non starter for me. Sorry i know its not what you want to hear i am just being honest
I keep hearing people say that "a lot of clickbank products are worthless... well have you read the latest press releases from clickbank and their revenue growth? we are talking hundreds of millions... if they only sold worthless stuff that kind of growth would seem to not be possible. and by the way, who exactly will read all those reviews? I dont want someone to read all of the reviews.. just one of them that they are searching for that is highly targeted towards their interests.

The best chance you have at getting an affiliate review copy is contacting them through their affiliate email and stating that you would like a copy so that you can look it over to make a more convincing review page. Though the likely hood of them agreeing depends on what kind of traffic/sales you can offer them. If you are trying this from scratch you'll probably be wasting a lot of time, though if you have a site with traffic and something to offer them you'll find they are more willing than you think.
I am curious about this too. I have tried emailing the product owner, and they usually give me the "just buy the product and review it" answer.
No one will give you a product to review unless you are well known in that niche. Say Darren Rowse from problogger may give his book to Brian from Copyblogger for review. Next point: You want to review. It's obvious that you are going to use affiliate links. So you want the owner to give you the product for free so that you can make some money online? Why should the product creator do that? The 80/20 rule applies. 80% of sales are from 20% of the affiliates. So, the product owner will be more likely to concentrate on the elite 20% affiliates rather than 80% of those who make little or no sale. If I give the product to Darren and he gives a positive review, I am sure I will get 100+ sales due to his recommendation. But what is the guarantee that I will get that from giving it to you? Are you established enough? A deal will always be a win-win situation when it comes to money. My advice: Buy one or two products and really test them. Then review and promote them with case studies. You will make more money that way.
Try contacting them and simple explaining you want to do a review and publish it on your blog. Another words ask them. You will find that many are willing to do it, as long as you have a site up and going, with some other reviews on it. Give it a try. If they say no... Show them. Do not review there product.
the vendors pay clickbank to advertise and sell their products that is where clickbank makes its money if the products are worthless and dont sell or have a high refund rate thats not clickbanks problem thats yours for promoting it. Clickbank arent going to lose money are they they dont give the refunds when someone is unhappy you do and a lot of the products have a high refund percentage so do your market research and look for products with a lower refund rate but always factor this in when you try to work a profit clickbank will make you keep enough money in account for refunds and they will know what the refund rate is so if you have £200 in the account you may only see £50 in reality
also you need to know some people are dishonest not like you or i and they will purchase a digital product and then ask for a refund within 60 days because they know clickbank will give it to them from your profit by the way and these people do it regularly because they can. There are honest people too but it happens and i am sorry if i am sounding dispondant i dont mean to. Money can be made with clickbank products if you get it right but get your market wrong and you will waste time promoting. Its all in the research i suppose good luck anyway i would love you to succeed afterall thats what we are all striving for. all the best
Research is the bootom line for making money on the internet..no matter what technique you hope to monetize with.
Thank you for all the good and interesting feedback. Unfortunately I have not even been able to get going on this review strategy yet. But soon I will and I will update this thread with what happened or what the response was from the vendors. In my honest opinion, my success at getting free copies for review depends on the power of my 'copy' to them in the email. I have to show trust and being totally open. In my opinion I do not need to be a '5 star blogger' or heavy hitter already to get their attention. If I was a clickbank vendor and someone wrote me an honest email that they needed a review copy to maximize sales of their product.. why would I spit in their face ? On the contrary, even if they are very small time and ground floor web biz person, I absolutely would want to help them to the max of my ability because I know that over time (years) it could be an ongoing continuous INCOME stream to me as a vendor. Maybe it would only be 2 or 300 extra dollars per year from this small affiliate.. but how many rich people do you know who refuse to accept 3 100 dollar bills in their face ? As part of my emails to them I will show them my phone number, my actual real address, my full name, all my contact info online an offline. Maybe I will even include a photo of myself in the email to gain more trust.
Once you start being a clickbank vendor, you will soon realize the amount of free review copy requests you get. Then you will be forced to say NO to atleast 90% of them. It's just how it works. When you experience it, you will know
Well, I am a ClickBank merchant and I am looking for a few people to review my products. For "some reasons" I also can't give you the product for free, but what we can do is... 1 - You pay me $20 by PayPal. 2 - I give you a product that sells for $97 in exchange for your review. To know more about my offer, please visit this thread Thanks in advance,
