Review of Affiliate Networks for marketers?

Hey - Is there any good places I should be looking to find legitimate reviews of affiliate networks specifically targeted to merchants/advertisers? Everywhere I look it seems the network reviews are either targeting the affiliates (ie if they pay well and on time) or are just advertisements for those networks.

Background: I have a website that sells a couple of products and I have been for a long time a part of a couple affiliate networks. They have done well for us but I now want to branch out and get more traffic therefore I would like to join some more networks. I was just burned a couple of times from some new affiliate networks that I joined who wanted large start up fee while promising tons of traffic/business and then once the network got us live all we heard was crickets. Any help would be appreciated.

hi, you can earn more with ECVV China.
ECVV has launched one of its kind revenue sharing program. The affiliate program known as “ECVV Partners” and can be accessed at http://partner.ecvv.com. Now everyone can earn as minimum as 1 USD for every free member referred by ECVV affiliate.

I contacted them and their email to me included a 12 month commitment and a $9,000 "investment". This is one of the reasons I brought up my question to this board. I don't mind the 12 month commitment or the $9,000 if I feel with confidence that it will be money well spent and give me a good ROI. The problem is how can I find out if they really are that good for marketers? I have already been burned more then once with affiliate networks that talk big and once they get the money and we are live there ain't nothing going on.
