I think that it is a good site and a very good idea. However, I tried to sign up but wasn't able to sign up. You should check your text boxes

When the page first loaded, I saw something about registration in the big banner. At first I thought I needed to register to click around.

I'd start adding forum posts and maybe hire someone to post along with yourself until you get community momentum.
