It seems rather hard to pronounce, first thing when i`m thinking of the word is Flexis Software, seems easier to remember. But that`s just my oppinion :)

I would say the name would be great if you have a good and recognizable logo to go with it. Maybe replace the Six with a 6

Thank you, but the issue is that that name is already taken and I can't use it.

But still, if use the existing name? Does it good?

replace the word six with the number 6, look at 36signals.com.

Better yet having a number infront of the work will make your brand easier to spot as I struggled with 'FlySix'

    Good luck

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply,

I do respect your vision, however, my opinion is that trying to look as someone else is not a good option.

Personally, I don't like numbers or hyphens in domains. And brand name should reflect founders vision.

    Regards,

The name looks a little difficult to pronounce, however, if you can modify a little like:

    FlySoftware or
    SixoSoftware

Maybe 6flysoft but it's very hard to pronounce. It sounds like an Asian flying daggers movie or something...

Try to make it a little short, so that people can easily remember and your business would have good popularity, the name is very important to your business so you should give time in researching a good name, have servery on the name like you are doing now, come up with other name ask here, you would get solution.

Its nice name , I like it. Be sure to register it as a domian or not to share any company / business names that you have not registered yet as someone else here on the forum can see the name and maybe like it. From there they can steal the domain / name from you by registering it behind your back and in front of your eyes.

I think your better off creating a brand.. Something catchy - that doesn`t have "Software" in it.. Your name needs to remembered by what it is and what you provide..

A good example is Xenforo.. By hearing that name, it grabs interest to people who don't know what they do.. Example "I use xenforo on my website" "What is Xenforo?" "They have a awesome forum software"

Later, that person will probably check them out just to see what they are about.. Opposed to:

"I use flysix software on my website" - From that name, they know you produce software but it probably won't stick into peoples head. I could name a bunch of other software companies that have an awesome, and unique brand without software in it.

    Just my opinion anyways.

The name doesn't really do it for me personally, but if you brand it right it could work. Try branding the logo as "F6" or "F6 Software".

    Example:
Office Guy says : Hey what software are you using for X?
Second Office Guy replies : Were using F6.
