The site took a while to load.. 1 suggestion: for your green background, it doesn't work very well with your blue colorscheme, try using a very dark grey instead
Most people hit the back button if your site doesn't load in a second or two so, for the top part, use regular formatted text to read myarticlesheaven, the blue color should be created as the background of a table or cell within a table, and what remains ie. the pics of people at the top could stand to be compressed for faster loading... use photoshop file>"save for web..." good luck
hmm isn't that the "Adsense Ready" or something site? if so, then why bother? The home page is not attractive, you need to work on the images and text alignment. You can even use different colors for each column.
