Review Needed on new Logo Design and Blog Look

Overall I would say the design is good. Here are some things I would recommend to improve it:
Logo:

1. The logo has a very dark, tight drop shadow that confuses the eye. I would try it with either no drop shadow, or give it a more transparent shadow with a larger blur radius. The logo and drop shadow should meet at a clear border where you can easily see the edge of the logo object without the two blending together.

Site:

1. Density of content is important on blog sites so it would be good to bring everything closer together. There is a lot of empty space above the logo and between the nav bar and the objects below it that could be reduced. There is a lot of empty space around the read more links.
2. More images would really liven it up. I would recommend adding nice photos to the blog posts teasers on the home page.

 

Awesome logo according to your domain name, also your blog looks too good and content in your blog are great and helpful. I will give you 9 out of 10.

 

The domain name is meaningful

 

The logo is okay but I don't like "K"

 

I feel that something was missing, like background image wasn't loading or something. A lot of white space. Good logo, good graphics.
