The theme looks good, its not a unique theme tho is it? also i feel the about page should have more content
You are right as its not unique theme. Will add more content as well as update about page later as currently working on content part as well as look part DON.
not sure what other categories your going to add and what countries you will be writing about but would it not be better to post under categories named like Travel Destinations (Parent) |____ Country A Travel Guide (Sub) or |____ Europe Travel Guide as i think it will get messy if it is all posted to one category, however it is hard to judge the site based on just 2 articles. also since its wordpress instead of using i would use something a bit more like maybe Will help get some anchor text backlinks for the homepage
Not bad . The content needs a bit more formating and probably some picture galleries or some eye candy because you have a high risk of TL;DR . The left side of the website looks deserted . And the graphics could use some spicing up . Overall a nice site for what it wants to be .
Maybe because you recently purchased it and gave it a go, I just felt it like just another "travel" blog but not something special. I think you need to change the whole theme first and apply the SEO tricks too if possible.
I know the theme .. So I don't really have any feedback !! But the two articles about Tunisia caught my attention .. because I have a websites about the subject http://www.tunisia-tourism.org/ You can add photos to your blog posts .. that's what people would like to see in a travel blog !! Good luck ..
a suggestion from that could be that you adding a ajax picture slider in the posts and add pictures of local views/attractions etc
Same here, For a travel blog interesting videos and photos are what attract most people. The sentence also should be light and easy to read and understand. Something like "I loved the beautiful hilltops of Albania. The grass is as green as it can and the water is crystal blue" >> then add some pics related to reflect your feeling rather than like a whole bunch of words which is more like an article. The theme is decent but I recommend a lighter theme, and maybe with a longer width. Goodluck Don

Design 1. Travel blogs... hrmm.. One of the main important stuffs that any travel blog or a travel website should have is a gallery wherein you can showcase famous travel destinations so that readers would get a visual feel of the place you are pertaining to. How about a jQuery slideshow gallery? 2. Sidebar - looks a bit thin. IMO, blogs should at least have wide side bars so that they may add more widgets or link navigations on it. 3. Overall - Still looks a bit dry for a Travel blog. Keep improving things! Optimisation 1. Make your title a little bit longer and use the meta description (helps in adding more relevancy to your keywords and the actual content.) 2. Auto generated pages - http://www.traveldescribe.com/?s - block them using your robots.txt. I'm interested to see something more from your blog. A travel blog should really have a great UI and user experience it as if you're trying to make your visitors feel how pleasurable travelling is!
