Hello all, my website is almost a year old but I never put any effort into it. I'm not sure how well I can use my beginner to intermediate skills (in SEO, IMM, Traffic) to make this website successful. http://www.reviewact.com/ Thank you! Any critiques will be beneficial to my decision making. (PS: Would you recommend me just selling the domain, and if so, how much could I compensate from it?)
It`s a very nice blog, but check the css, because the date text of the posts have wrong position, they are above the article text. Uze z-index maybe. Overall i like your site
The problem is I am getting no traffic from search engines. I'm not sure what to do. And yeah I was meaning to fix the date issue.
Hi admin! Your site is just good and need some more quality articles and contents. Include such data and then you will dafinitly get visitors on your site. Its PR is still on 0 and also no any good comments. Just work hard to improve your site to bring your site in Google indexes and first pages search.
Maybe you need 'Category', 'Tags', or something like that but all is alredy fine to begin and you will know more when you got many readers.
There's lots more things you can do. Get reading the SEO forums for more ideas. In terms of the site design itself, I like it! Maybe the navigation could be improved at the top of the page. There seems to be a dropdown menu next to the "Home" button which either shouldn't be there, or isn't being displayed properly. That's something to look into as it's affecting the usability of the site. As someone also mentioned, the dates are slightly out of line at the top left of each post. Other than that you're looking good! Have you tried writing guest posts for some other blogs? What about trying to get some Backlinks from other relevant sites or contributing in relevant forums? That could help drive traffic to your site and create more backlinks. Then you'll organically see your rankings start to increase and your search engine traffic will start coming in!
This page: http://www.reviewact.com/2012/04/what-is-act-test.html needs to be your about page. It took me a while to find out that ACT wasn't a piece of government legislation nor Symantec's CRM software. In your heading Online Act Preparation to improve your score. you should have Act shown as ACT since it's an acronym. It probably wouldn't hurt to have a few links out to other reputable ACT resources - if they're any good they won't touch a link exchange so don't bother asking. But the big thing you want is traffic, right? Well you have to give the search engines some reason to think your site is good - and content is the first and easiest thing to fix. It has a handful of posts - Google isn't going to think that your site is a quality site when there is nothing there.
Good website! What engine did you use to build this website! I ike colors and design in general, but I think that this red table on the top is too big, I would make it shorter! Please PM me about engine that you use!
Too lazy to view the source? <link rel="EditURI" type="application/rsd+xml" title="RSD" href="http://www.blogger.com/rsd.g?blogID=8973109030785892998" /> Code (markup):
Thanks Sarah. I am finally able to have time to edit my websites. I fixed the Date issue, and the drop down menu.
How do you add a gadget to the left side of the page if the template does not allow gadgets on that side? How would I create one? (EDIT: I'll create a thread)
