Hello everyone, I m one of teh recent member of this forum.. I would like you all to review my website: www.myadventuretrip.com Its an adventure travel portal, it has both B2B and B2C functions.. The main idea is that, this should be the one stop destination for all adventure travel needs in India. We will connecting the small time tour operators (who doesn't have a web address/ or not much budget to market) to the customers world wide and let them sell their itineraries online.. and please give me your feedback.. Thanks and Regards.. Udit Bhalla ubhalla@gmail.com
Site loads a bit slow for me don't know if that's just me. It looks nice. Maybe you should include "India" in your header, because if someone visits the site right now, it's hard to see it is about tourist trips in India. (on first sight) Other than that, very well looking & userfriendly site.
Truth? Sites OK. Because of those graphics (even sliced like that) you are gonna have some issues with older operating systems and 56k users. I didn't really "get" the meat of the site. What I mean is that I didn't feel like I belonged there. Let me see if I can make this a little easier to understand: If I were planning a trip, and excursion, there is one thing I want to know immediately... HOW MUCH. I searched but found no pricing, no suggested pricing and no clue to how much I might be able to spend using your service, or if there was a service, or if it was just information that you offered. You understand? I didn't feel like your site was my final destination for all things about excursions to wherever you wanted me to go. There was no lead-in to the sale, no feeling of urgency that would lead me to buy your packages. Know what I mean? In web terms it is referred to as "A Call to Action" and there didn't appear to be one. I felt like I was on a Wikipedia page about trips to "wherever". The design is nice. The graphics are gonna cause minor issues, but anyone who can afford a trip costing 1000's is probably not using 56k or a Pentium II with 35 megs of ram, so you should be OK. But the sales pitch needs some work. Does that help?
There's 2 versions of the homepage, http://myadventuretrip.com/ and http://www.myadventuretrip.com/ Although they are the same page the crawlers see them as 2 separate URLs, use the.htaccess file to get around this, e.g. Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on rewritecond %{http_host} ^myadventuretrip.com [nc] rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.myadventuretrip.com/$1 [r=301,nc]
