please tell me what you think! I'm still working on integrating the auctions section and I will be adding a forum and Private Message system as well. But what do you think so far? http://www.apps-r-us.com thanks!
hi-nice looking site. my suggestion is, i think you should put 'Welcome to Apps-R-Us!' at the top of the page in place of 'latest tutorial, latest news'. since the welcome info is telling people exactly what the site is all about. your navigation buttons on the top of the page are nice too. good luck! thanks.
i like the look of it - its very easy on the eyes =) and i like the way that the top menu works, very um, slidey!
Not bad looking website. Maybe just some comments for improvement... You might want to consider improving your header so that it could better match your web content. You might also want to box up your icon so that it will look more neat as different icon have their different shape. It may seems slightly messy if you are to lay them side by side.. Hope it helps. Cheers! Patrick
thanks for the kind words everyone! I like how it looks too I agree about the welcome info in the top corner, I will be getting on that later this afternoon and playing with the layout a bit patricksia2007: what exactly do you mean about the icons? I didn't quite understand... thanks all!
Nice something on this site worth looking at - look at layout not so much the Toys r us type logo. Everything seem prefect and i wish you the best. 9/10 - content is king
oh, did you mean in the turnkey app listings? I did begin putting frames around the newer product images in there. @wunir: yeah I think I'll probably need to change the logo eventually, but for now, I like it I think I remember hearing about Toys R Us going after some company for doing something similar :S
thanks everyone! I can't believe everyone likes the site Unfortunately, I have only made a few sales so far.... any way you guys think I could improve my conversions? thanks again everyone!
great idea..and i love the BLUE background wonder whether the app you sale is exclusive to each person who buy..or no?
Thanks! No, the code itself is not exclusive to each customer, but we include easy modification instructions where you basically replace "Type your question here" to "Your Question?". It's that easy. So when you buy the script, you modify it to be your own with your own content and images. It's very easy to do, as I said, and results in completely unique and individual apps. And if users are too lazy for even that then we offer design and installation services as well Soon we will also have a live auction section where there will be established apps for sale.
