It doesn't look modern at all, are you going for a 90s look?

 

dosent want me to use it just looking at it. the diffrent colors in heading is confusing to my eyes. the images used to fx the games is stretched to dead. and what the rest say... if you want some users to the site - u might want to pay for a design-template for better show

Great starter site that needs some tweak ups and change in appearance.. Hope the following steps helps you improve your sites look
Change the Header of the site.. it is too nasty
Avoid congesting contents in the site(two columns of posts)
Categorization is not done up to the level(the labels,tag 3,tag4), first create a clear list (tree levels of structure)for your contents and make the site more clear and user friendly
Remove unwanted buttons found on the left most column
Choose some decent themes(it may even be free) but choose good theme that matches your need and also improves your site's look

I think your site is really great, I just wonder how you do it?

 

Try getting some kind of banner on the top of the website where the title is. Feels like you slapped on a template and that's it. Other than that, you've got a pretty good website. Keep up the good work.

the domainname sucks, sorry i dont wish to be rude but no one is gonna remember it.

The bottom right is also not working correctly.

 

Fill the space which is left blank in right side. You can also go for good attractive colors.

 

The site look ok. Change to a better looking header.
