Hi I have started this website with 5-6 posts. It doesn't have pictures, I am still working on design part as well. I just wanted to take your precious time for reviewing this website. Link: http://know-google.com This blog with give updtes, news, reviews on google tools and services and provide some tips & tricks!! Waiting for review!!
The design is nice, but the domain might become an issue as google doesnt like people using the Google name in their URL's. The content on the site is quite good, but it can become a little bit hard to read, i suggest that you lighten the area behind the text(instead of begin transparent) as this would improve readability.
I dig the design. Looks good! But I agree, you're running the risk of copyright/trademark issues on the use of google in your domain. Is it guaranteed Google will care? No, but it's something you should be aware of.
Is it guys... this really can be a great fuss later on?? You have made me scared!! What should I do know??
Yup, agree.. Its a registered trademark domain name.. A similar case, read this : https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/unauthorized-use-of-yahoo-inc-properties.2675581/ Anyway, design is fine, but if possible change the logo and link color..
I am not sure the point of your website, before or after reading the About Us page on your site. Those sentences are wordy, meaningless, gobbledygook.
Having trademarked words on your domains is a pain in the ass i have this issue a lot when i first started. I was thinking if the website allows me to register it then i am ok If you want to keep the website then just change some words. I remember when i had issues with Instagram i changed it to just gram~~~ and now i am ok
You have to buy another domain name like KnowTheEngine.com for example or something that its not trademarked and then contact your domain provider to transfer your website from the old domain to the new one
No no not change it! As soon as you ordered domain1 you can't change it. But you can buy domain2 and transfer the files and full database from domain1 to domain2. Hope this makes it clear
My website is mustangexclusives.com and I had to contact ford motor company to get written approval and have them verify my site. Maybe you could do the same with Google.
I dont think he will ever get a reply from google and even if he gets it will not be the one that wants to see
This is interesting.. !! And the correct way how we use a trademarked domain. I want to see the document..
Yea...I'm at work now, but I'll upload the document when I get home. I just contacted Ford Brand Licensing and filled out a request form. Will go into more detail later.
Guess google will not have that much time even to check my website, plus it's not developed at all. So I closed it up!! Dont want to put my efforts at stake: (
Thanks a lot for the motivation my friend. But I dont like to see my efforts going waster after a year from now!!
