As I am in Australia I know nothing about NFL so I don't know this person. However I did want to ask if you were comissioned to develop this site by him or is this more of a fan site? If the latter then be aware that many people have successfully sued to get their .com name. I think you've done a good job. I like the masthead - I'm not a big fan of green but I think it works on this occasion.
I agree with 'clever' you should watch out for legal issues. I am actually a fan of green, but not that olive color that you are using. The header though is pretty amazing. Well done. Hopefully your site helps create the buzz that Andre deserves!
