Review my website about freeware

Hello! I started a website about free of charge software two weeks ago. What do you think of it?

You can use some more content on the website( more articles)
but for the rest is looks good

 

Yes, I'm working on the content, about 150 words/day. Thank you for your input.

 

Your site looks pretty nice. Check you english writing style, put more articles and your site will grow up.

Generaly looking template look nice, but this WP template is to offen, so my advice is to find some other template. There is tons of free WP templates on Net so you can find them very easy.
Another think I don't like is the site logo. Maybe it will better look if it's "web 2.0" style logo, or just put plain text for now.


Offtopic:
Keep in mind when you are saving images for web template that images that aren't full filled (that have some parts or complety transparent) have some issues. In IE 6 or older there is PNG bug, and it displays a gray background where is image transparent, so you must use "IE hack" (Alpha transpareny), or just to save image in GIF format. I'm not currently on Windows machine, so I can't check it, but it looks like there isn't involving a "IE PNG hack". Another issue about you logo is that it have no smooth edges. You can fix that by adding foreground color into adaptive color when you are saving a image, or just add a main image's (logo) edge color if it's the same on edges.

The logo is temporary, someone will design me one in a couple of days.

The site is not bad it has a nice color scheme and it's easy to navigate, the only
suggestion I would make is... I think you should get a more professional logo.

Excellent site. Very aesthetically pleasing and I can see you're adding lots of content as time goes along. Lots of potential to become a very solid site. Personally, I don't like the stats counter on the left but that's just my opinion.

Great Logo, but I would change the color of the title, it is not in contrast with the background.

I think the template is fine. Fix your logo and content, and you should be good.

 

I've spent a couple of minutes in paint.net and i've edited the logo, is brighter now. im gonna work on the content now, thanks guys.
