i think design is good but you should make a logo. and i want to ask a question to you. are writings original ?

 

I would probably put less ads on the page, fine on the sidebar but maybe just one in the content section, never try to over do the ads. Also yes like mkarakas said is your content original? If not I would deff get some fresh organic content on the site it will help you along your way. =)

 

i understand about the ads, and maybe i have slightly overdone it, however i would rather that then have blank space.

any suggestions what i could fill the space with instead ?

 

Personally I think the design is a lil boring to look at. Looks pretty empty and the design overall could be improved. More styled rather than so simple.

 

Add a little more content. I think that better would be displaying posts in blocks.

Well, the design is real simple, which is not a problem but I do have a few some suggestions:

Fit the title of the website on one line.

Blend the Google ads that are below the top navigation menu better, perhaps by making the background color of the ads the same color as the color of the background of the website.

or Domain SEO?

etc..

 

Use alt tags with your keywords.. they will help you in SEO approach.

please don't mind but it will not catch more traffic if you not put some effort on design, logo, and many other creativity.
