Hi guys, I'm working on VapeShopNearMe.net and its almost completed. Actually its a directory based site for vape shops where owners or users can add local shops. For those who don't know, vaping is the use of e-cigarettes instead of smoking. Let me know what do you think about the design and features. Would love to see positive and negative points of the site. Regards
Nice clean looking site but there are a couple of things that IMHO would improve it. First, your load times are really high/slow. I ran a couple of speed tests after noticing it when I went to the site and it's taking around 15-16 seconds to load and that's considered very slow. This is where a big improvement is needed. Second, I noticed that no mater where the site is visited from it shows the Dallas area on the map. If you are mainly targeting North America then perhaps have a map showing of just that at first. I would also have the map a little smaller on the main page and maybe ad some other useful content that is Vape related. Also, you might want to get a TOS page up on it somewhere and include a privacy policy so people who use and/or sign up know what your policy is. If you plan on putting up any kind of affiliate or ad-serving network ads you'll also need a disclosure statement. Other than these things it seems like it will be a nice site with potential. It seems like every where I turn these days I am seeing someone vaping. There are also a lot of people I know on another forum that are into vaping so a site like this might be useful to many people looking for supplies. Good luck with the site.
