I am looking for reviews on my URL Shortener Website Design. The site is called Twurl.in and the url is http://www.Twurl.in Please give me your thoughts and suggestions.
I like the color theme, but to be honest with you.. you really need reduce the footer width as it's looking wider than my current screen width 1024 and properly use the same logo color as the header and might even make it smaller..! After taking a quick look at the html code of the site, i have to advice you to use external CSS file for your pages styles.. it's better than hard coding the styles in your HTML pages.. and get's cached on the visitors local machine which will make the site load faster and after all it will reduce the wasted bandwidth.. Hope i was clear and helpful, REP is most appreciated.
Simple site with blue all the way. nothing much to comment on designing side. but my question is why do you need such a huge width? why not restrict it below 800. it will be easy to view from all screen resolutions and will look professional as well
Try adding some stats to those using the links, and removing the 5 second redirect on your site good luck with the site

The search box on the page is left aligned and the links in the footer is center aligned you should center align the search box to make it consistent and you should remove "" from the top of the page.
i don't really like how its so huge, with just a upload box in the middle, add some stuff to it. nice domain name though
Thanks everone! I am a mediocre to just plain bad programmer and coder. haha.... One final thing I need suggestions on. Should I make this site into a very simple and easy to use URL shortener or should i make it require registration, but users can make money off the links they create using the site? Anyone? Either: - Easy, free, no signup, URL Shortener - Easy, free, registration required, you make money, URL shortener? Thanks!
I have tried the site in IE and FF and don't see this  everyone is mentioning... What browser are you guys using?
Simple would be the best way to go for beginners. And then add on more as you become more accustomed to what you are doing.
same here, 1024 is my screen resolution and I have two use the horizontal scroll, that's not too good
Ok, so I think i fixed the problems you all have mentioned. Please let me know if you are still having them.
There are lot of empty spaces in your site and its too short but it need to scroll a little bit down. I think there is no need for the vertical scroll bar, remove it...
The design isn't the best to look at. Here's a few suggestions: - Make your URLs shorter. http://www.twurl.in/?pqo04 is still a long URL. - The link that it tells you to copy and paste is incorrect... - 5 second redirect is annoying (I doubt that people will use your site) - 'Please remember to support our website and visit our advertisers!' <- This breaks Adsense's TOS?
