All color scheme is nice. Template layout is good too. More important thing is contents very good and updated. Did you use CMS? Maybe I want to use too. ;P
The site looks nice and clean and easy to navigate however, I think some of the blue text on the landing page is too small you should make it slightly bigger.

This is our custom news CMS that we are supplying to the news/media companies. right now we have only one client in our bucket that is http://www.samaylive.com a Indian national news channel with 7 regional news channel. This is multilingual as well.
