    Hi guys,

I recently set up a traffic generating blog which I am constantly working on and putting unique content from my knowledge in the industry. I would like ppl to review it and talk about the design, the content & pretty much let me know how I can improve it. Please keep in mind I'm not completely finished as I started it about 2 weeks ago and I am looking for innovative ideas from dp members to improve it. My site is www.trafficinsider.net

I am sorry to say it is quite plain .
The featured article section has no content at all .

Okay, listen up cause this is really important and you need to hear this. The amount of garbage using up the first 400-500 pixels of your site is KILLING it for readers.

There's a thing called the cutoff line. That's where the page cuts off at the bottom of the person's browser and they have to scroll down to view more. You want all your important information, what the site does, and what you want your readers to get out of your site, displayed above the cutoff line.

You want to be able to fit in as much as the first post as you can, or just the title if you cant, before the cutoff line. This way the reader will be enticed to scroll down instead of just closing the tab or window.

If I were you, I'd make the header smaller, get rid of all those bulky ads or at least make them smaller and remove that huge grey box. What the heck is that anyways?

Clean up your site a lot and make sure you have good content starting as high up the page as you can otherwise people wont even scroll down.

Exactly what ktpasco says If I wasn't reviewing the site I would have instantly clicked away in less than 3 seconds nothing grabs your attention and people get the impression oh this is a site just for displaying ads nothing useful here and they leave.

The title of the blog looks simple and the colors are also looks odd from each other, try to use mixed colors for background, it will be better..

Thanks for your great reviews. I am really glad people like it and I wanted to let you all know that I have made changes to the site like ktpasco said to add something interesting articles above the cutoff line. I have added a featured articles in that gray box. Also will be changing the colour to try make them a more relevant.

Thank you and any more reviews would be helpful as I want to get my blog very popular and will start some promotional campaigns after I feel I have perfected it.
