The layout and design is simple but I think the site would look better if you change the color of the links in the navigation of the site.

It looks hideous, and that's my honest opinion. I've taken a look at the templates that you have for sale, and they seem to be a lot nicer than the layout that's presenting them. You're not alone though, I come across these sites all the time and they all look the same, you need to work on giving it a proper makeover because at this point, it doesn't even look legitimate.
Looks nice clean and simple i really like it although i think the left hand navigation menu could use some work.

Well, I mean, it's a template site, I would think that template sites would look good, not like super super good, but decent. Most of these people at DP wouldn't know a good layout if it hit them on their face, to them it's all about 2.0, SEO, and all that bull. Put yourself in the consumer's shoes, would you buy from your site? Here's the top three "templates" results on Google: http://www.templatemonster.com/ http://www.freewebtemplates.com/ http://www.templates.com/ All of them have some nice decent designs that will wow the person visiting them, and you need to realize that it's one of the points that make them profitable. You know, there's thousands of those diet pill and e-book sites, but they all look the same, so there's not really much profit coming out of it, at least most people wouldn't buy stuff like that. I've been around on the internet for a long time and I know that I like going to flashy type sites, I like to see that there's effort being put into it. I don't want to visit a site where it's just one or two colors and just awful. I'm not saying that you need to go out and pay someone to make a layout, you can use the one you have now and expand on it, make it more eye appealing.
Get a piece of paper, find other sites that you like the layout and begin to draw out how you want to incorporate some of the design styles from the sites that you like. Designing on the go is fine.. trying to fill space etc.. but if you actually have a plan, or model drawn on whether on paper or in photoshop for example.. it will be easier for you to implement certain aspects to make your site more aesthetically pleasing... Looks good so far - continue to build on it.
In my opinion, the logo should have the same background color as the header background color . And the left menu is a little too pale . It would be better if the menus have some 3D menus(background picture) .
Impressive , but your logo needs improvements .How about providing a drop down menu for accessing all kind of templates rather putting it side by side??
