Its very clean, I would recommend you use the n4g.com network when your team posts articles... N4G is for gaming and they have a tech version as well. That will help you get some readers and it is free. If you are serious about traffic then a small cpc campaign would work and facebook ads.

I would also increase your square ad in the sidebar to a medium rectangle 300 x 250 because it has a higher pay rate.

Thanks for that! I've signed up for N4G, hopefully it can bring in some extra traffic if I get my news approved.

if you are talking to gain traffic, you can run some ads on google, or you can work with smaller gaming networks to keep your costs down. I would spread your campaign across a few networks to increase reach. And spend as little as possible.

The other thing to do is run a contest that works on a viral platform. Meaning using built in social promotion.

Thanks for the amazing advice, I'm already seeing a huge increase in traffic using N4g.com and I launched a giveaway last night and it's bringing in some traffic too, can't wait until it takes off with social media.

I see you signed up for PunchTab, we run giveaways all of the time with this system, I highly recommend you put the widget in your sidebar so it shows up on all pages and drop the pop up image.

In the advanced settings on your widget, you can link your giveaway to that post though :)
