Review my sports site

Just about 2 weeks ago I released a new sports site. Here is some information on the site.

Sports News Nightly

- We currently have 5 writers
- US based
- player interviews
- 2 weeks old (domain is around 30 days old)
- Content is unique

What do you think of the site, what would you change, what do you really like? Thanks

 

Looks pretty good. I would make the footer more intricate by adding more links and maybe your social networking icons.

 

For me its a perfect site, good images, good content and very professional layout

Very nice website. I would agree that maybe you should add more sports.
Also the top of the page (where your logo is) looks a bit empty, maybe you can add something to fill up the big space?

 

your site has a good script bit it is so new you should not take google advertising

It is a very clean site, i like the slider.

 

Hi, I like the slider too. But don't like its theme color. Grey is not sporty color. Maybe you need to change the color to white and red or light blue to bring the sporty atmosphere around the page.

Well, the site looks good. If you just posted it, give it a week or two for Google to see its a good content site and then start to monetize it!

Site looks neat and professional. Good mix of color. I'd say the contents are perfect. Try to optimize the contents with rich contents related to cricket. I'm sure, your site will be recognized. All the best. Cheers!!

 

just football and basketball? maybe add golf, hockey, and when spring comes baseball

 

We will be adding all sports. Mostly NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB

We might also add golf, but would have to find a writer for that.

I hope you find this is helpful criticism, as it's meant to be. I find the top black rectangle to be far too big. As soon as I scrolled down I really liked the site. But you're taking up a third of my screen with nothing. Why? Also, the four options (NBA..etc) are so limited that they draw attention to the limits of the site itself.

I would recommend you cut that black rectangle out completely and then space out your menu options. It would make the site look like it had a lot more to offer.
