Review my song please...

    I wrote a song 12 years ago and recorded it with one of my old bands before we split up and I moved to the Canary Islands. 11 years later I have a new band and played the song to them and they liked it. We then practiced it and felt really strange, sounded like the old band but much improved! Let me know what you think

    I think the song has potential - it was good but has a slow undertone that it does not shake. Speed it up a bit...

    Thankyou for the advice, the new version has more power to the chorus, I am playing more power chords in the chorus to make it sound a bit more meaty. I am using an SM58 screened in the recording, but bare in mind I was 17 at the time (12 years ago), have learnt a bit more guitar since. The new band will record it soon, so might be interesting to see if we have improved it or destroyed it! lol
