    Simple yet effective, but remember content is king, if you are only planning on showing videos you will want to find something that will keep users coming back. News Feeds, blog, forum, etc...

    I agree with thomascraig. Content is king. If all you're posting is video there is Youtube for that.

    give some history of the player and keep fans informed on his daily actions this will keep some readers coming back and allow you to fill the content void.
