I know I still need to add more articles and files, but I'm just looking for a general layout review. Let me know what you guys think.

How about having some positive images and not negative ones in your header make people remember the good times not the bad

Hi - I'd agree with tigrrra on that. It might be worth adding some nicer images - Not sure everyone will find your site very accepting otherwise.

 

I also very much dislike left-aligned sites. I also agree that I'd prefer to see a positive message but if you're looking for sensationalism / conspiracy-theorists you're design is probably on-target.

I have basically designed it to create controversy. People like to argue on this topic. People love to read arguments and argue online. Easy way to get return visitors.

 

So pure exploitation then.

 

Im not out to change anyone views, I am not gonna take either side, but there is a good amount of people that will argue both sides of the story. I just want to have a place for the table to be open.

 

Your second post sounds less exploitative. I like the thoughts you put forth in the last post, being neutral, giving a forum for people to discuss. Your imagery is still on the shock-and-awe side but ... morality aside, your site looks good. You've got some skills working for ya..

I would suggest centering the whole template. But that's just me.

<center></center> is all it would take =)

 

A very news-y type design. Suits your theme really well. My suggestion would be to make the text color on your header a bit more bright so that it's more visible (maybe as bright as your red 'home' button)
