    The only thing I can think of would be that someone already submitted that title, otherwise I think I have it set to 40 characters.

    well maybe you could lift the header a bit from the background and integrate the headlines (i mean the "home", "directory submission service" etc.) optically in the header... And it would perhaps be better to put the advertisement on one of the sides and not on the header.
