Yes, I have to agree. I don't know why... maybe we are just too used to left or center? But right does upset me a bit. I think that's all. Your site look really nice. I personally would tone down that doughnut effect on your logo a bit, or get rid of it. The shadow you have with your embos is black, and it doesn't really look that good on top of orange. You can probably use a darker orange, but not completely black. Notice that throughout your entire page, your logo's style very different from the rest, that's why I say that effect might not be the best idea.
Oh another comment, More content is needed. Sorry but right now if I found your site I would click back on my browser, you need to make it look less like you have the site to put big ads on.
your banner/logo was the first thing I saw...and i didn't really like it. You really need more content for sure.
I think the content can always be added later. Right it is just the design we are working at. I see the content could fit into the layout nicely, if the layout is done.
Hi Windy, One thing that I've noticed is that your coding needs some work. Like the end tags for input: <input type="text" name="q" size="20" maxlength="255" value=""></input> Code (markup): I checked the HTML validation and it comes up with 21 errors. The next, you may want to consider chopping up your logo because it's 14k. Also I don't like the fact that I have to scroll over to see the rest of it. I'm using Mozilla @ 800x600 on XP. Basically it's just the small things, but you are in the right direction.
It falls apart in Firefox. You should design for both FF and IE, IMO, at minimum. Then visit here: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.findmyseo.com/ I also agree with the above, align right is extremely unpopular and immediately drums up thoughts that there is a problem with the web page in question.
Right now the ads look like too much. Also on the Latest News section I'd like to be able to click on the news to read the whole article or more news. Maybe it's just me being click-happy though. I think the content on SEO Services would look better left aligned, too. I like the theme you have going. It makes me think that's how users must feel when looking for an SEO company - lost in space. I hope the comments help.
Needs content. If it's plastered with Ads like that it tells me it's not a serious service. If it were a serious SEO service, it didn't need any Ads that show competitors. There really isn't much worth of content. There is a centered list on services.htm which is hard to read. You can center the table but at least left-align the text. Your 'latest' news isn't really up to date. To avoid old news you might want to automate that based on relevant RSS feeds. The box headers are messed up in FF. Should be a home link above the fold as well IMO. (Actually, there already is, missed that earlier.)
Hello, My eyes focused on the banner first and I think it could use a little work. There's too much open space (literally) that could be going to some use. Adding a slogan or other relevant information on the right would not only look better but it would make your banner more practical. I would recommend a darker font for the links on the top so they stand out a little more. The links at the bottom of the page are off-centered and should align with the entire table and not just the left half. Your tables are in need of some cell spacing. It's unattractive to have text snuggled completely against the borders, I usually set mine to about 3 at least. I like the color of the font in the Adsense scheme that you chose. Try changing the bold black lettering in the paragraph above to match the Google color. This will brighten up your site and allow your ads to blend more. If you are going to have news headers like your Yahoo reference, you should provide a relative link to where they can learn more. A one sentence news article might be considered useless. Try adding some color to your Directory chart. It's useful info but in a plain package. Alternating row colors and different colored heading backgrounds on the top would spruce it up a bit. If your server supports PHP or ASP I would look into making the whole right hand section an include file so that you only have to update one file to affect those sections on all pages. I say that because your news section exists on all pages but there is only content in the front page. I knew exactly what your site was intended to do when I arrived, thats a good thing. I found my way around easily enough. I would just tweak some of the design elements and add more content, then you'll be well on your way. Good luck and happy designing.
More content. Fix the hover on the links - they look unprofessional. Change color of links, they blend into the background too much. You might try also matching the color of the ad links to the color of your text links.
