In all honesty -- the design is somewhat ..drab. It's hosted on a standard blogspot account too. The only thing you have going for you right now is content. (Well.. they say content is everything..) Perhaps reach out a little and find yourself a hosting account, install a bunch of plugins, some nice themes, etc..
