    That google ad unit and the white space below the menu doesn't look right. I would consider replacing that with a link unit and if you want more ads then maybe a smaller horizontal ad would work right above the posts.

    The site looks a bit disorganized I think the site would look much better if you got
    a more professional template.

    The background image and that empty space between divs isn't as good as it looks. Color combination is a bit disorganize. Try creating a concept first for your site to achieve an effective design.
