Hey gang, awhile back I decided to throw my hat into the ring by starting my first web site, a companion site for Culver Military Academy Summer Camps, one of the oldest summer camps in the country (founded 1903) and one of the larger and fancier ones around (1500 kids over the course of 8 weeks each summer, lots of foreign royalty sending their kids there and Hollywood people too.) Anyway, the site started as a message board but then I put a wordpress blog up as the front page, tacked on a wiki and links to a frappr, a cafepress store, a photogallery (visible to forum members only), and some video's on YouTube. Every month or so we have online Culver reunions and send out a newsletter of forum highlights and news from a highlighted camper or alum. During the actual camp this summer we plan on publishing dailiy updates on the site for alumni and parents to read.
