I have to agree, I don't like the intro page at all, do you really even need it? Why not just add your content on the main page and get rid of the intro page? I do like the blue header , looks nice.

It doesn't show up centered in firefox, the layout isn't bad, but I don't really understand the premise behind your site. You might want some introductory text or a mission statement or something describing the purpose of your site. The Nav bar looks nice though. Good Luck
You are supposed to enter the site not just look the Latest Announcements page. Anyway what can i do about the intro?
You can ditch the intro, as already said. Put the 'news/announcements' on the main page near the top somewhere. The intro page doesn't match the template of your site at all.
