I'd love some feedback on Fanatical Gear - Technology News And Reviews please feel free to visit the site at that link and let me know what you think, about 150 pages of content and growing everyday, its a new blog I just want to see what everyone thinks.

Your suggestions would be much appreciated.

nice site, few suggestion:
1) change font of text ' You are here:' and 'Today is ...'. it differs from other site text's font.
2) text in the logo, it not looks very professional, it could be more smoothly

Over all the site doesn't seem professional at all. Take the adsense out from the logo space.

 

i think the site design serves the purpose. you're semi-blogging and the color theme is good

The site is loading too slow, it may be due to the huge number of image in home page. Try this...

Thanks Guys. Yes I'm aware its loading slow, its on a shared account right now, I'm moving it over to one of my dedicated server this weekend, I just threw it out there in a hurry. The logo is a little blurry I am aware I also threw that up from a .png file, i'll get the .psd file this weekend and clean it up. yes -Secret- you are correct I didn't design the theme but I did tweek it and removed some aspects and added others. and TheStrangeFruit that Adsense spot has made me $30 since Monday. I agree it needs to be mixed in better, again just threw the site together on a whim.

 

i would delete the footer links.might be regarded as spam

 

Skyper2 if you are referring to the designed by links I won't remove as its not my template I just tweaked it, i'll have a custom template coming soon to review.

Thanks Down-Tube! Still a work in progress, content is more important than any design as we should all know, I have almost 200 pages of content I wrote and I'll have 1000 pages within the next 2 months then i'll worry about a full on design redo, the new template is already in the works.

 

The page layout and the content is great however, the logo does not look professional
you should get a more professional logo.

 

nice blog design, you definitely need a logo though.

 

The site is...well...i like it really. The logo of course needs to be replaced.
And one more thing...the favicon for your site is O.K...as long as it blends
with the logo you have in mind.

Just cleaned up the logo, its not all blurry now New Template coming in a few weeks!

 

Haven't seen the old Logo, but this one looks okay

Still, You haven't changed the font family of the 'breadcrumb & date' text.. right under the header banner !!

btw: lol, the theme designer & sponsors (footer) links have been removed as well

 

looks good, no problems in loading for me.
