    How much traffic are you getting now, since you've started? I believe google adsense will only allow you to run ads on your site if you are able to reach a required amount of traffic on your site.

    Ok I see a couple of issues here.
    1. Logo is too small & It's location with respect to the search bar is just absurd.
    2. You need to work on navigation of the website. Create Categories or Tags for the types of dishes/recipes.
    3. Add sharing plugin to the site. People won't be able to Like/Share it if they want.

    Apart from the above, I think the content is good. Not copied.
    Site is good enough at speed.
    Keep up the good work.
