It loaded fine for me but I have DSL. I like the theme and colors the wood is really busy though kind of distracting but I really like the red and the gray on the rest of the site. The font on the buttons is small. I’m not a fan of wordpress and blogs but this one is laid out nice and easy to follow. Looks good
Please note this is an honest and consider critique designed to help you with your site. Please don't take offence at anything I say it is not meant that way. Page loaded up in about 5 seconds. Although did I notice a background image that is not anywhere to be seen on the page as I look at it in 1024 x 768. If so, loose the image it is disorientating and just a waist of bandwidth. The title band of your page is huge. It takes up about half of my screen height. From a usability perspective you want to make the user scan across the page and then down to the middle, where your important content is. There is not much on screen to read in 1024 x 768 before you have to scroll. People don't like scrolling. The Author: admin // thing seems to be across the top of some of the text of your articles. The font is a little bit small for me. A size larger would make it a lot easier to read. A majority of people like myself, have deteriorating eyesight. As you get older it will only get worse. The contrast of White text on a black (or dark grey) is a bit hard on the eyes. Reading on a computer is harder than reading a book . You are not in a very relaxed position, sitting upright looking strait ahead of you not with the book in your lap. Also, you have the hum of a fan in the background. Finally the contrast on a screen is far harsher than black text on a white page. Just pick up a piece of A4 and hold it up against the screen to see what I mean. The contrast problems can leave your eyes tired more quickly so try to make the contrast a little less harsh. Contac us in the menu is spelled wrong. Always spell check your productions. You would not send a letter or card with spelling errors in it would you? Give your web publications then same respect.
I have visited your blog and so far it is fast loading to me at the same time the theme is something interesting but you need to place more tempting pictures and recipes to encourage more people to come to your site
