    Second one definitely looks better. Did you think about thin rounded semi-transparent border?

    The right side one is rocking.
    Because it has light but left hasn't any.
    Dark is better but not for always.

    Actually they are both pretty sharp designs.

    The thing that needs improvement is the Logotype itself.

    The text that reads "the black jet" looks like it is done by a non professional.

    Try one version of it with no gradient at all, just use a solid color with a more futuristic (italic) looking font where the first letter of each word isn't in caps.

    Left one looks cleaner, would be better if the font for "The Black Jet" would be different and the background is not as dark as that, perhaps a moonlight setting?
