Review my portofolio site

Just set up my first site (newbie at this) to put my portofolio on. Here is the link http://www.marioland.info. I would really appreciate some opinions about the content and the simple layout of it. Remember, it's my first site, so have mercy!

 

View it in Firefox or opera, it has a few issues.

 

you have chosen smurf like fonts, man the body content is too small.

 

I noticed on Opera, but I don't know to fix that as in IE is working. :-s

 

Ok, I fixed the Opera issue and also increased the font size! Thank you for the feedback! Much appreciated!

 

Put custom alt tags on the images, they all say 'thumbnail image'.

Alot of text, and a bit wide then normal, use less text and use some fanct header, header is very simple

 

Well, I intend to make another page with some header samples, and then a header for the site would blend with the rest. Thank you for your thoughts!

 

I like how you want the site to look simple and clean but I agree with arcguy that there's too much text in your site. For a portfolio, you need more graphic elements on the site rather than text

 

Too much full page with contents, you should look for less but effective contents. Everything else looks pretty well.

Very simple design, It needs some graphics. But not bad at all for your first website design. Not a fan of the colors. Keep at it!
