Hey everyone, just completed my portfolio for web & logo design along with a couple other services. www.TheBanksLife.com check it out, let me know!
It's nice and simple. But i would have a few suggestions usability-wise: Your homepage has all those icons presenting your competences. Users tend to want to click those. You should consider making them clickable and have them send the user to relevant content. That's my 2 cents worth. I hope it helps
Looks good - clean and simple. Unless you're really targeting the mining industry I'd mock up some other types of websites just to give your portfolio a bit of range.
I opened the link and immediately thought what @slownun said. For something that's a portfolio the website doesn't actually do much to demonstrate examples of your work. I mean, I clicked on "portfolio" and was able to see your actual work, but it was a little counter-intuitive. Other than that, it looks nice and simple.
The services icons , description and headings need more spacing, maybe use a one page style instead of multipages, your portfolio and contact form on the homepage since its a portfolio website.
My first impression was of the social media & cryptomining icons - they remind me of executioners! Perhaps it's social media for death row inmates . I find the header to be blaring...just too black...not very friendly for a portfolio site. The lack of functionality on the home page and the limited contents of the remainder of the site makes me wonder of you could have just created a single page site. While it's a clean site it needs a bit of work to get it to appealing. Good luck with it.
Looks great, but if I were you I'd double or even triple my portfolio. It looks a bit on an emptier side right now. You want to impress people from the get-go. ( http://thebankslife.com/portfolio/ )
