I've been designing a porfolio the past couple of days to display my work.

Very Nice. Love the sleek look. Your work is pretty nice as well. How long have you been designing?

 

Well I have seen your site and it is cool but I think it might be good if there's somehow description in your site. It seems that you really like the shades of blue in your site

 

I was thinking the same thing actually. I feel your site would benefit from a home page, with some text explaining who you are and what you do a bit. It would also be good for search engines.

I hav'nt got round to writing the about me page yet, been trying to get some work up.

I've been designing on and off for about 2 years, its just something to do in my spare time right now.

 

I started the same way Now I'm full time and supporting my wife and kids with it

 

Wow, looks nice and professional. I thought I had opened any premium templates website.. , good work!
Just want to suggest one thing:
I don't feel good when I hover on the top buttons: logo, wallpapers... It changes to blue background, can you do some alpha/opacity in the hover background? I think it will look good

 

I hate it, but that's just me. The ability to use the website for an average person is much harder. You have to be someone who has a higher skill to be able to appreciate the website I think. I wouldn't revisit that website in a million years. I don't know though it looks like flash and feels like flash and I hate flash.

It's a personal choice for someone, but it's not that it's just flat out terrible. It's just to complex.

Just perfect. I love the sleek looking. and the color too. May be you can highlight the active page on that main menu

 

Design wise it is nice and will be able to showcase you work perfectly. One very important missing ingredient for me on your site is YOU! Write a profile or short bio or else your site no matter how beautiful seem very cold.

 

I love the look of the site, and you have some beautiful designs. I found one thing a little confusing though. On the right side of the page at http://www.jim7porter.com/software-template.html, I found the
This Blog Rules Logo and Veylo Logo links a little out of place. I think it might look better if the template screenshot took up the width of the page, and you put the rating and the links above or below the screenshot.
